Q. What is royalty free stock footage?
A. Royalty free is a licensing term which is used to describe a one time fee to license a piece of footage forever. You pay once, and you get to use that clip for any project, at any time. The purchaser of the clip does not acquire any copyright ownership. The creator of the clip still retains copyright ownership, but you get a non-exclusive right to use the footage for anything you want.
Q. How do I download the footage after I purchase it?
A. After paying for the items in your cart through paypal, come back to the website, and go to your member area (accessed by clicking the 'Sign up/Login' tab). In the first page of the members area ('My Profile') you will see a link 'Orders' which has download links available for all of your purchased files. You can also access your downloads by using this LINK
Q. What do you use to film this footage?
A. All of our footage is shot with professional HD cameras and HDSLR cameras such as the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 7D. The larger sensor size of the HDSLR cameras, as well as the wide selection of high quality lenses, results in sharp and professional footage.
Q. What frame rate is your footage?
A. Nearly all of our footage is 1080p 30p. However, most of our San Francisco collection is 1080p 24p.
Q. What codec is your footage encoded with?
A. All of our footage are Quicktime Photo JPEG .mov files. In the future we may upload some of our footage in h.264 Quicktime.
